A survival horror stealth game, Hello Neighbor 2 has players trying to uncover the creepy neighbor’s secrets and avoid being captured by him. Dynamic Pixels and Eerie Guest Studios are working on a sequel to the original Hello Neighbor, which will be published by tinyBuild. Hello Neighbor 2 will be released on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 this year, according to a new post. Fans of Hello Neighbor 2 will, however, be pleased to learn that there is more to come. The Hello Neighbor 2 beta will begin on April 7, 2022, and those who pre-ordered the game will be given access to the early stages.
For a limited period of time, PlayStation Plus members will no longer be required to play online multiplayer games on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 3.
Hello Neighbor 2 also got a new pre-order trailer to promote the game’s upcoming beta and show off more of the action. It begins with a shot of the film’s protagonist, Quentin, walking from the highway to the Raven Brooks neighbourhood. It shows a board with photos of local residents, all of whom have some connection to “The Neighbor” from the original game. It then shows him sneaking into people’s homes, searching them for hidden treasures and solving a few puzzles along the way….
the post goes into detail about the game’s creation and even gives a glimpse into its plot and what players can expect from the sequel. The storey revolves around Quentin, a reporter assigned to look into the disappearances of several people in the town, including Nicky Roth, the main character from the first Hello Neighbor game. Hello Neighbor 2 gameplay takes place in Raven Brooks, as opposed to the basement of a single house as in the first game.
This time around:
the creators of Hello Neighbor 2 plan to create a “constructed layer-cake of social horror and family-friendly fare.” As the storey of the game treads a thin line between the two, the objective is to combine the two. A more subtle approach to horror is taking place in the game, with the goal of making the residents creepy, distrustful, and mysterious while creating a sense of dread in the player’s experience. This sequel to Hello Neighbor features a cast of characters from the game’s fictional neighbourhood that players can interact with. More are hinted at in the post, including a baker and fisherman, as well as the town mayor and his pet dog. To put players to the test, each character will have their own motives, secrets to hide, and even their own unique AI and behaviours to test their skills against. Of course, the Hello Neighbor 2 trailer concludes with a brief glimpse of The Neighbor himself.
