PUBG creators KRAFTON and Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) have unveiled a video showcasing the hyper-realism technology used to create virtual people for their plans to create interactive content and a metaverse for their popular online battle royale game, Players Unknown Battlegrounds (PUBG).
Announces Virtual Human Production Tech
Based on Unreal Engine, an artificial intelligence and 3D-based hyper-realism technology, KRAFTON released a demo video of the game’s capabilities. It is possible to create realistic-looking human-like virtual humans using KRAFTON’s virtual human production technology. Virtual influencers and singers will be among the many uses for these human-like avatars in the gaming and esports industries.
In addition, research and development on technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), text-to-speech, speech-to-text, and voice-to-face communication will continue.
KRAFTON’s hyper-realism technology isn’t just being used to create virtual humans. Another hyper-realism-based PUBG:
Battlegrounds cinematic video has been released. Esports players will be able to enjoy a unique experience thanks to this video’s use of the native Unreal Engine.
At KRAFTON, we believe in the infinite scalability of these technologies, which is why we’re prepared to build an interactive virtual world (metaverse) in stages.
